How to Select, Install and Test Landscape Backflow Protection

This 90-minute seminar will cover the fundamentals of cross-connection control and backflow protection. We will look at the types of hydraulic conditions that can cause either backsiphonage or backpressure to occur. The seminar will also cover the methods, devices, and testable assemblies that can provide the necessary protection and the installation and testing requirement specific to each type of protection. We will finish up looking at irrigation and landscape systems and the common problems and challenges related to them concerning the protection of the public water system.
