IE Chapter Sexual Harassment Training
Effective January 1, 2019, California businesses with 5 or more employees MUST provide harassment prevention training every 2 years (SB1343). SB1343 requires all employers with 5 or more employees to provide:
- Two hours of sexual harassment prevention training to all owners and supervisory employees by January 1, 2020.
- One hour of sexual harassment prevention training to all non-supervisory employees by January 1, 2020.
Part-time, temporary, and seasonal employees, plus independent contractors count toward the minimum employee count of 5 employees.
Plan to join us, and meet compliance with the new law. Topics include reporting, investigating and resolving complaints, parameters of confidentiality, and practical tips on how to stay out of trouble and keep your workplace harassment-free. You don’t want to miss it! This very informative 2-hour training is just $10 to attend and includes a light breakfast. RSVPs requested. A certificate of completion will be given out after the class.
Enjoy a Toro facilities tour following the training!
