Jeff Calhoun Named 2024 Associate Member of the Year

The California Landscape Contractors Association named Jeff Calhoun of Hunter / FX Luminaire its 2024 Associate Member of the Year, honoring his enthusiasm and efforts to promote the association and California’s green industry.

The award, which is given to an Associate Member who is involved with a significant project or accomplishment during the current year, was presented during the association’s annual Leadership Conference, which has held in Sacramento January 14-15, 2025.

In 2024, Jeff chaired CLCA’s Golf Task Force and championed its efforts to energize the Associate Member/LEAF Golf Tournament. Under his leadership, the Associate Members are investigating some creative ideas for future golf tournaments or other event in place of a golf tournament for the convention.

Jeff has been an active member of the Events Committee for many years and currently serves as Associate Member representative on the state Board of Directors. He is active in the San Francisco Bay Area and Central Coast chapters and is always helping promote chapter and state events to CLCA members.

One member who nominated him for the award noted that Jeff “is wonderful to work with and always gives a positive ‘yes’ when asked to assist with any task. He is very good about giving 100 percent to anything he is involved with without over committing.”
