Time To Roll Up Our Sleeves and Get To Work, 2020 President Regan Barry Says
To all of our valued association members,
It’s 2020! Here’s a huge shout out to you as we kick off the new year. It’s time to roll up our sleeves and get back to work. My name is Regan Barry, and I am extremely proud to be your state President for 2020. I am looking forward to digging in, pun intended, to my new position. All of us who serve you as state board members and staff thank you for the trust that you have given us to continue the important work we do to protect and promote the value of our C-27 license. Through our incredible network of state and chapter volunteers, we have created opportunities and benefits for our members that are difficult to find outside our association.
We all started our journey with CLCA in a chapter. In our chapters, we discovered a community of like-minded people needing support, resources and someone to ask the question “how do you do that?” For that reason, I am here now writing you this letter because I am not done growing.
As I have followed the path in our association from member to volunteer to chapter president and now state president, I have learned a treasure chest of knowledge that has given me a perspective that I hope will translate into positive results for our association. This year, I will support our member experience to be a mix of education, mentoring and fun. It all starts at the chapter level, and I will do my best to support the growth and training of members of our Chapter President Council so that they can best support our members and the goals of our association. I invite you to attend our leadership conference in Sacramento on January 28 and 29. Come learn more about what opportunities await you.
Sincerely,
